Email Notifications & Settings

Overview

Email notification is the core delivery channel of FormBold. Every time a user submits your form, FormBold compiles the submission data into a clean, mobile-optimized email and dispatches it immediately to your specified recipient.

Setup Instructions

1. Go to your form dashboard and click 'Settings'.
2. Scroll to the 'Email Notifications' card.
3. Ensure the notification toggle is switched ON.
4. Select your desired destination address from the 'Target Email' dropdown.

Adding Verified Linked Email Addresses

To prevent unauthorized spam and protect privacy, FormBold requires recipient emails to be verified before they can receive form data:

1. Navigate to Account Settings > Linked Email Addresses (/account/linked-emails).
2. Type the new recipient address and click 'Add Email'.
3. Check the recipient's inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
4. Once verified, the address will immediately appear in the Target Email and CC dropdown menus across all your forms.

Configuring Carbon Copy (CC)

If team members or managers need a copy of submissions, select an additional verified address in the 'Email CC' field. A carbon copy will be delivered concurrently with every primary alert.
