About Formbold

What is Formbold?

Formbold is a form backend: point any HTML or JavaScript form at your Formbold endpoint, and it stores each submission, filters spam and sends it to email, Slack, Google Sheets, webhooks and 8 other apps, with no server to run.

It's for developers, agencies and small teams who already have a form on a static site, a client project or an app, and need somewhere for the data to go. You keep your own design and code. Formbold handles the part after the submit button.

Who builds Formbold?

Formbold is built by Pimjo, a software company that Musharof Chowdhury founded in 2015 and still runs as CEO. It started as a one-person shop and is now a team of more than a dozen designers, developers and support staff, working from an office in Dhaka.

Before Formbold, Pimjo made tools for people who build websites: GrayGrids templates, UIdeck, the Lineicons icon library, Ayro UI, PlainAdmin and TailGrids, a Tailwind CSS component library. TailAdmin and Next.js Templates followed in 2023. Pimjo says its products have reached 5 million users.

How long has Formbold been around?

Formbold launched in 2022. Today more than 20,000 people and companies use it to collect form submissions.
